China's Chongqing allows 215 tonnes Canadian soy

The first 215 tonnes of Canadian soy under "China-Canada cooperation-Chongqing North America granary" programme recently passed review of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

Afterwards, it was shipped to Chongqing from Waigaoqiao port in Shanghai, the Chongqing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau added.

The Chongqing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau continued that "China-Canada cooperation-Chongqing North America granary" was a key project being implemented by Canada consulate general in Chongqing, Province of Manitoba and Canada China Business Council (CCBC).

Being packed in North America, the soy will adopt container global monitoring system to safeguard quality and weight. This reduces unnecessary steps and minimises epidemic prevention risks during shipment, loading and unloading. The soy will be stable raw material source for lots of small and medium-sized oil companies and feed processing firms in southwest part of China.
