Nutreco completes sale of Euribrid to Hendrix Genetics

Dutch-based Hendrix Genetics has completed the acquisition of Nutreco's breeding division Euribrid in a deal worth EUR 47.5 million.

Euribrid, the breeding division of Nutreco, is a division that consists of four dedicated breeding companies, each focusing on its own species; broilers Hybro, turkeys Hybrid, pigs Hypor, day-old chicks and hatching eggs Plumex.

The sale also includes Euribrid's Animal Breeding Research Centre.

Even though the company's products are exported worldwide, the company mainly operates in Canada, France and the Netherlands.
