Quiet sulphate additives markets in China hold prices flat

Cupric sulphate

Demand showed little improvement in cupric sulphate market, prompting producers to keep prices low while copper futures market remained weak.

With supplies abundant, cupric sulphate prices are seen soft even though demand is expected to increase with rising animal population.

Zinc sulphate

Zinc sulphate prices softened amid slack demand during the period in review.

Plentiful supplies, in conjunction with a weak zinc futures market, will hold down zinc sulphate prices in the coming period.

Manganese sulphate

Lacklustre demands weighed on manganese sulphate prices in China.

Although feed demand is poised to improve in the coming weeks, it will not be robust enough to lift the prices of manganese sulphate, which supplies are seen abundant.

Ferrous sulphate

Ferrous sulphate producers were not eager to increase prices while demand improved at a slow pace.

China's ferrous sulphate prices are unlikely to firm up in the near term as output costs stay low while demand remains limited.
