Singapore's Wilmar resumes soy plant operations in China
Singapore-based, Wilmar International announced Thursday (June 5, 2008) that it has resumed operations at its two soy plants in China's Sichuan province.
The company said that the soy crushing plant and refinery were not damaged in the May earthquake and the shutdown did not have any material impact on overall group operations.
Wilmar is the world's largest processor of palm oils. In China, the company is a leading oilseeds crusher.
