China lysine prices surge 21% in two months

Lysine prices continued to rise during the week ending June 3.

As livestock sectors continued to recover, demand for feed improved slowly but steadily, hence supporting lysine prices to rise further during the period in review.

Average transacted price increased by RMB0.52/kg to RMB8.52/kg.

In the near term, lysine market is expected to stay firm on the back of strengthening demand and tight supply.
