Minh Phu Seafood leads Vietnamese seafood exports
Minh Phu Seafood Corporation (MPC) topped the list of domestic seafood exporters with total export revenues of nearly US$47 million in the first four months of this year, the Vietnam General Department of Customs said.
The Hochiminh Stock Exchange-listed shrimp processor exported 4,359 tonnes of the products in the period, up 46.13% from a year earlier.
The US remained the largest importer of the company's shrimp, purchasing 1,963 tonnes, worth US$29.94 million, accounting for more than 45% in volume and 53% in value of the company's total exports.
Japan ranked the second with US$7.35 million, followed by South Korea US$5.66 million, the EU US$4.1 million, and Canada US$2.47 million.
