Chinese company to expand hog production in Inner Mongolia
Jining's Pengcheng Agri-Technology Company will expand hog production in the Wulanchabu region, located in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Total investment for the project is expected to amount to RMB65 million.
Once completed, the company will be able to realize an annual production of above 100,000 heads of hogs per year. Through contract farming arrangements, some three thousand households located near Jining city will also supply about 100 heads of hogs each annually. Thus, total production is expected to reach 400,000.
Pengcheng's latest investment is expected to generate RMB166 million in returns for the company.
