For the first time in North America, technological solutions developer, Nedap, will exhibit various new products at the World Pork Expo 2013 in Des Moines, Iowa, US.

During June 2 - 7, the Netherlands-based firm plans to introduce the Nedap Electronic Sow Feeding and Nedap Pig Performance Testing solutions, specifically developed for the swine industry.

The Nedap Electronic Sow Feeding permits free movement of animals and takes care of their individual nutritional needs. By providing a high level of care for livestock in group housing, while maintaining production and financial results, the solution will aid producers in meeting growing demands of retailer and consumer requirements for transparency in the treatment of animals.

Nedap will show a sow feeding station with individual separation during the Expo.

The Nedap Pig Performance Testing is a new system focused on breeding, and automatically registers the growth and feed intake of each pig.  The process facilitates the convenient identification and selection of the best performing animals, based on the most important production characteristics.
