BASF announces price increase for carboxylic acids
BASF announced it would raise its prices for carboxylic acids immediately in Europe.
Formic Acid, 85 percent will now increase by EUR80 / tonne, Formic Acid, 99 percent by EUR100 / tonne and Propionic Acid by EUR90 / tonne.
BASF's formic acid and mixes contain formic acid in multiple applications.
In animal nutrition, they improve feed hygiene and digestion, and as a result allow food of animal origin to be produced in a particularly eco-efficient manner.
BASF is the world's leading producer of formic acid, with production plants at its integrated Verbund sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany, and Nanjing, China.
