CFC launches poultry blog
The Chicken Farmers of Canada (CFC), a national organisation funded by farmer levies, has launched a new blog dubbed "Chicken Feeds".
The launching of the blog is aimed to create a dialogue between the organisation and consumers, to discuss issues such as animal care, and to debunk myths and legends and misunderstandings about chicken.
Consumers nowadays want to know more about the origin of their food, and how it's raised and handled, said CFC Chairman David Fuller.
The blog is a way that CFC can provide information to consumers and hear what matters most to them, Fuller said.
