China's largest lysine producer lowers prices to resellers
The largest lysine producer in China has reportedly made downward adjustments to its prices on June 1. Actual transacted prices (delivered-to-station) of 98.5-percent lysine to resellers were lowered to RMB12.5/kg from RMB12.8/kg. Meanwhile, prices of 65-percent L-Lysine saw a significant adjustment from RMB6/kg to RMB5/kg.
There was a quantity cap on sales at these reduced prices. Each contracted trader reportedly would be offered quantity at reduced prices equivalent to 25 percent of their respective accumulated sales volume from January to May this year.
