WTO backs Brazil and Thailand in poultry tariff dispute with EU

The World Trade Organisation has ruled that the European Union was breaking trade rules with additional duties being applied to imports of boneless salted chicken from Brazil and Thailand. The two countries said the customs classifications of the imports were changed in a way that led to an increase in the tariffs levied on them.
