China exports more lysine in April
China's lysine exports in April totalled about 9,197 tonnes, up by 1,044 tonnes from March.
For the period from January to April 2006, China's lysine exports totalled 30,578 tonnes worth about US$28.752 million.
In April, China exported 3,843 tonnes of lysine to the Netherlands, up by 2,249 tonnes from March. Exports to the US and Belgium were 685 tonnes and 585.5 tonnes respectively. Export volumes to Poland and Colombia were significant as well, exceeding 300 tonnes each.
