CJ Group's new lysine production facility in Liaocheng, China to commence production in early June

China's CJ Group (Liaocheng) has completed the basic installation of its new 65-percent lysine production facility, construction of which started in April 2004. Actual production is expected to commence in early June.

The US$100 million-facility in Liaocheng, Shandong province has an annual capacity of 60,000 tonnes, and is the company's second lysine production plant.

CJ Liaocheng is the second Chinese lysine producer of 65-percent lysine products.
