Danish pork consumption decreases

 

 

There is a declination of yearly per capita pork consumption in Denmark from 44.1kg in 2005 to 34.8kg in 2009, according to the current statistics from the Danish Statistical Office.

 

Meanwhile, beef consumption increased from 26.1kg in 2005 to 27.8kg in 2010.

 

The latest statistics regarding total meat consumption are not ready yet but the estimate is that the average per capita meat consumption in the country in 2010 will remain largely unchanged at 83.6kg compared with 2009.
