Nuscience expands feed production capacity in Tianjin, China

Nuscience is building a new premixes, concentrates and specialty feeds factory in the West Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) in China to replace the existing facility, thus tripling production capacity to 10,000 tonnes per month when it becomes operational by mid-2015.

Nuscience Group, which is part of the Royal Agrifirm Group, recently held the ground-breaking ceremony to launch its new construction project in Tianjin. With the construction of the new plant, the company hopes to meet and exceed the demands of the Chinese market, as the existing plant, TJ DKVE, which is located in Central TEDA, had reached its full capacity with direct sales to industrial farms in North and Northwest China.

Patrick Keereman, the CEO of Nuscience Group says, "With this investment, we take the next step in guaranteeing our customers an even higher technical performance by providing the Chinese market with safe and healthy nutrition."

Apart from the production site in Tianjin, Nuscience also successfully operates a company in Suzhou for the Southern and Southwestern Chinese markets, and a trading company in Shanghai. Other production locations are based in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine, Serbia and Brazil.
