Indonesia continues to issue corn import permits
After nearly two months, Indonesia has gotten back to issuing feed corn import permits because millers have insisted that the domestic supply is not enough, stated industry officials and traders.
They said corn shipments of close to 200 kilo tonnes are scheduled to arrive from India in the next few weeks.
Indonesia's corn imports slowed to a trickle last month because the government wasn't issuing fresh permission letters amid the on-going local harvest.
