Marubeni agreed with Molino Canuelas on grain opportunities tie
Japanese trading house Marubeni Corp. said Friday (May 29) that it has signed a pact with Argentina-based food company Molino Canuelas to cooperate in grain trading and marketing.
The Tokyo-based company said the two companies will team up to export grain from Argentina to Japan and other Asian nations. The two companies will also promote joint marketing of Argentine grain to Europe, among other tie-ups.
Such details as how much revenue the tie-up would create or the specific amount of grain trading haven't been decided, a Marubeni spokesman said.
