Norwegian company aims to market shrimp feed in South East Asia
The Norwegian Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture Research, Fiskeriforskning Bergen, has set up a new company to market shrimp feed to South East Asia.
The company, Blue Limit, was set up exclusively to focus on shrimp feed. It has applied for a patent for its new method to produce feed for shrimp larvae, and aims to invest NOK 30million (US$ 4.95 million) in the next few years to launch the product.
It also aims to set up a factory in South East Asia regarding the region as its most important market.
