Tunisia buys 90,000 tonnes soft wheat at US$248.89/tonne

 

 

Tunisia's state-run Office Des Cereales said Monday (May 28) that it bought 90,000   tonnes of soft milling wheat for shipment during June, on a cost and freight basis.

 

The wheat is of optional origin and was bought in a tender that closed Thursday at the price of US$248.89 a tonne, an official at the office told Dow Jones Newswires.

 

The official didn't disclose the name of the company the wheat was purchased from.

 

Tunisia last bought wheat on May 4 when it purchased 42,000 tonnes of Black Sea origin soft wheat.
