China's Xinjiang and Russia collaborate to build a "Livestock and Technology Cooperative Research Centre"

Xinjiang Academy of Animal Husbandry signed a cooperation agreement with Russia Academy of Animal Husbandry and Kazakhstan Ministry of Agriculture and Farming last week. Under the agreement, Xinjiang Academy of Animal Husbandry will collaborate with the Russian Academy of Animal Husbandry to build a "China-Russia Livestock and Technology Cooperative Research Centre."

The research centre will serve as a platform for both parties to exchange and share relevant technical problem-solving services, researches and resources, which will in turn enhance China's animal husbandry and help train more technical personnel to achieve scientific breakthroughs in the industry.
