Three farms in Guangzhou receive one million cash reward for reducing emissions

The department of environmental protection and the department of finance in Guangdong province, have come up with a cash reward system to encourage agricultural enterprises to actively improve and increase their waste disposal and treatment facilities, so as to effectively reduce greenhouse gas emission.

Three farms in Huadu district, Guangzhou, have been identified for their remarkable result in emission reduction, and awarded a total of RMB1.226 million cash rewards. It is understood that the individual cash reward is proportional to the number of livestock in the recipient farms.
