China Whey Weekly: Strengthened buyers' confidence perks up prices (week ended May 26, 2013)
The confidence of hog farmers strengthened as hog prices rose steadily with the government implementing supportive measures. More buyers accumulated whey stockpiles, which were depleted, while building piglet inventories in view of better prospects in the hog market.
