China's hot-processed poultry enters South African markets
China's hot-processed poultry meat enterprises, 25 of which are located in Shandong province, have gained approval to export to South Africa.
South Africas Ministry of Agriculture formally approved the qualifications of 57 Chinese enterprises, the Shandong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau reported.
This marks the first time that Shandongs hot-processed poultry meat is registered in South Africa.
By the end of April, 1,123 Shandong-based aquatic product, poultry meat and prepared pork intestines or cooked meat product processing enterprises had obtained overseas sanitation licenses.
