Chicken Prices Fall In Pakistan
The retail price of live broiler chicken has somewhat eased to Rs 62 per kilogram this week due to sufficient supply of poultry products in the city, market sources said on Thursday.
According to Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) the production of chicken was gradually increasing in the country especially in Sindh.
The wholesale price of broiler chalk (live) was Rs 60 a kilo while the retail price was Rs 62 a kilo on Thursday.
Secretary PPA Rafiquddin said poultry farmers, who had abandoned chicken farming after suffering heavy losses due to bird flu diseases among chicken population, have begun the farming.
