Zhongding Dairy Farming to build dairy farm in Russia
Dairy enterprises from Russia and New Zealand, and China's Zhongding Dairy Farming have recently entered a joint venture to build a large-scale dairy farm in "Mikhailovsky", Russia.
According to news reports released in Russia, the project's first phase will involve the construction of a 1,200-head cattle breeding complex. The dairy breeding complex is estimated to start distributing milk to retailers in 2017. Besides milk production, the dairy hub will also be looking into dairy products such as yogurt, sour cream, and cottage cheese by 2018.
This is not the first time that Zhongding has collaborated with Russian counterparts; the former has previously worked with Russia's Severny Bur to build the world's largest dairy in Mudanjiang City, northeastern part of China.
