Delacon, an Austrian phytogenic feed additive producer, has recently opened its newest subsidiary company in Moscow, Russia.

''Delacon has worked intensively over the last three years to build the foundations for our Russian business,'' said Delacon CEO Helmut Dedl. ''The Russian market is very different from other markets, and we have adapted our entry strategy to be able to work there successfully.''

The Delacon office is conveniently located within the centre of Moscow. At the opening ceremony, which took place on May 15 at the premises, various guests from the industry were in attendance, including representatives of distributors, feedmills and premix manufacturers, as well as senior faculty members of Russian Universities.

Delacon Russia Manager Emil Marecek said, ''The solutions of Delacon have come at the right time to the Russian market. We experience a lot of changes, and local producers are looking for innovative technologies to improve their performance and ensure food and feed safety."
