Big Dutchman acquires Poultry Management Systems

 
 

Big Dutchman, a leader in poultry and pig production equipment, has acquired a majority interest in Saranac, Michigan-based Poultry Management Systems, Inc (PMSI).

 

PMSI holds the majority of the market share in the US and Canada in computer controls for the egg production industry.

 

PMSI founder Stephen Herbruck will remain a shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors. PMSI President Doug Powell will maintain his position, while the firm will continue its operations in Saranac and continue operating as a fully independent company.
