Shulan Furun Poultry's begins first phase operations

China's Shulan Furun Poultry Food Co., Ltd. recently held a ceremony for the start of operations of its first phase project and the laying of foundation of its second phase project in Shulan City, Jilin province.

The first phase of the company's plan is a 20-million head chicken slaughtering project with total investment of RMB150 million.

The project is expected to generate RMB650 million in annual sales income once fully operation, with RMB38 million in pretax profits and provide 1,000 jobs. The second phase of the company will be a 15,000 tonnes a year meat product deep processing plant with total investment of RMB320 million.
