Luctarom® Convert increases fat digestibility in poultry diets, according to Lucta S.A.

 

Results of digestibility trials conducted at IRTA (Spain) showed an increased activity of digestive enzymes in broilers fed with the phytogenic product, which also made lard as digestible as soy oil in young broilers, providing a new alternative for poultry feed formulation.

 

Luctarom® Convert is a spice blend with performance enhancing properties and results from several field trials show that it improves growth and FCR on average by 2 percent, according to Lucta S.A.

 

In the IRTA digestibility trials, the feeding of Luctarom® Convert at 500 ppm improved soy oil digestibility by 3 percent and lard digestibility by 7 percent in 21-day old broilers.
