While the ban has yet to be lifted, exporters have already begun stocking up on supplies, driving chicken prices up during the last few weeks. Other companies, including Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), are in fact also preparing to export frozen chicken, not just to Europe, but to Japan and South Korea as well.
