BASF will temporarily suspend production of vitamin B2 and lysine in May

South Korea's BASF will temporarily suspend the production of Vitamin B2 and lysine in Gunsan, Korea due to annual maintenance work to be carried out at its plant for a period of 3 weeks during May.

Demand for Vitamin B2 has been high in 2005 and thus stock levels are at a low. Therefore, availability may be affected during and several weeks after the temporary plant closure.
