Soybean and oil push rise in Brazil's May exports
The US$1.301 billion trade surplus recorded by Brazil in the third week of May this year was the highest weekly result due to increase in exports and oil by 26.9 percent. Exports reached US$ 3.330 billion while imports totalled US$ 2.029 billion in the period.
Import volume fell by 15.4 percent against the second week of May, prompted by the mechanical equipment, fuel and lubricant segments.
