South Korea's Nonghyup Feed Inc., or NOFI, bought 50,000 metric tons of optional-origin corn from an unknown seller in a private deal concluded Friday, a Seoul-based trader said Monday.
NOFI agreed to pay $157 a ton for corn of China origin or $163/ton for corn from any other origin, the trader said.
The cargo is for Sept. 25 arrival and will be discharged at both Incheon and Kunsan ports, the trader said.
