Alltech initiates new beef and poultry line
Alltech will be initiating a new line of beef and poultry, free of growth hormones and antibiotics and branded after its founder, Pearse Lyons.
The firm says the new Lyons Farm products are produced using Alltech's natural nutritional feeding programs, resulting in premium-quality meat rich in antioxidants and nutrients.
The new line will include Alltech's all-natural beef, Alltech Angus, which currently is available in 150 restaurants in Kentucky and Ohio. The new beef products will be available in the central Kentucky area this summer and online. The poultry line will arrive at a later date along with other, unspecified protein products.
