Hy-Line announces restructuring to meet increased demand

Press Release

Hy-Line International has announced it has restructured its commercial and operations activities due to continued growth in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.

Under the new structure, Hy-Line will have two commercial teams that will be supported by two integrated operational centres. A recently formed business unit, Hy-Line International (UK) will serve customers in Europe, Eastern Europe, CIS countries, Africa and the Middle East.

Robert Cocksworth, currently the managing director for Hy-Line UK Ltd.'s commercial chick distribution business, has assumed the responsibilities of commercial director of Hy-Line International (UK).

Hy-Line International (UK) is an integrated grandparent to parent stock production facility with full order-to-invoice responsibility for the regions served. Hy-Line International (UK) will also be strengthening production in the UK with the placement of additional Hy-Line breeds to compliment the existing Hy-Line Brown breeder production that is in the UK.

Robert Connolly, Hy-Line director of sales and marketing, will continue working with Latin America, Asia, and the Chinese markets. Hy-Line products being sent to customers in these regions will be supplied directly from Hy-Line facilities in Dallas Centre, Iowa or Nova Granada, Brazil.

"We are confident that the restructuring initiatives will improve customer responsiveness, increase production capabilities and ensure the continued delivery of high quality chicks to our customers' locations worldwide," stated Dr. John A. Greaves, president and CEO of Hy-Line International.
