Morocco's 2013 wheat yield may dive

The wheat produce of Morocco will slump 53% in the next season as dryness cuts output, the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service stated in a report.

Production in the year that starts on July 1 will fall to 2.7 million tonnes from 5.8 million tonnes a year earlier, according to the report.

The amount of rain from September through April was 55% less than a year earlier, the USDA said.
