Russia's 2012/13 oilseed production to reach11.2 million tonnes
The Russian oilseeds production in the season 2012/13 will amount to 11.2 million tonnes, 11% below the same index in 2011|12 MY, according to the estimates of APK-Inform analysts.
At the same time, production of sunflower seeds is estimated at 8.5 million tonnes in 2012/13 MY, down 12% from 2011/12.
Production of soy is forecasted at 1.6 million tonnes, down 7% from 2011/12 MY.
As concerns rapeseeds, Russia will harvest more than one million tonnes in the season-2012/13, down 2%.
