China Methionine Weekly: Sharper falls in prices (week ended May 20, 2012)
Methionine buyers were extremely cautious as livestock markets showed no improvement. Suppliers cut prices to stimulate buying but trade remained light as livestock producers were mostly incurring losses. In Europe, price quotes for spot deliveries were at EUR3.20-3.30/kg.
