China April soy imports up 55 percent on-year
China's soy imports in April rose 55 percent on-year to 3.71 million tonnes, the General Administration of Customs said Friday.
In the January-April period, soy imports rose 36 percent to 13.86 million tonnes.
China is the world's biggest importer of soy and gets most of its supplies from the US, Brazil and Argentina, the world's leading soy producers.
