China's methionine imports down in April
China's methionine imports registered 8,857.03 tonnes in April, down by 180 tonnes from March.
Average import price in April was US$4.32/kg, down by US$1.05/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (4,760 tonnes), Japan (2,155.03 tonnes) and France (1,444 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during April.
