Methionine distributors cut prices in China amid tough competition
Prices of methionine continued to slide during the week ending May 21.
Methionine distributors reduced prices as overall sales remained slow while livestock inventories were limited.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine reduced further to RMB27-28/kg.
Plentiful output, together with the slow rise in demand, will hold methionine prices week.
