Inzo pursues 50-percent acquisition of Brazilian Vitagri

Inzo, the animal nutrition branch of the InVivo Group, is pursuing its 50-percent acquisition of the capital of Vitagri, the Brazilian services firm.

Vitagri, established in the State of Parana, reports a turnover of US$20.7 million and has 100 employees.

The company markets pre-mixtures of vitamins, trace elements and additives and special feeds. It develops its services with producers of livestock feed as well as producers of feed on the farm.

Well-known player on the South American market, Vitagri is particularly active in the principal states of Parana, Mato Grosso and Minas Gerais on pig and poultry production.

Vitagri is, in addition, particularly complementary to the activities carried out in animal feed in Brazil by Evialis, subsidiary of InVivo, through the Socil and Zoofort companies

The acquisition is aimed at increasing the domains of Inzo and Vitagri to ensure a larger financing base for research and development of the InVivo Group in animal nutrition.

InVivo is active in the selection and marketing of seeds, agricultural supply, animal nutrition and health, the storing and international trade of grains, as well as specialized and mass distribution.
