Wheat And Flour Prices Fall In Pakistan
The prices of wheat and flour have started coming down in Lahore and other parts of the province after the Pakistan federal government decided to import one million tonnes of wheat, sources in the Punjab Food Department told Daily Times on Wednesday.
The sources said since the announcement, farmers and stockists had started selling their wheat to the Food Department. They said the price of a 20 kg flour bag had gone down by five to seven rupees and the price of wheat per 40 kilogrammes had gone down by five to 10 rupees in the Punjab.
