Fancom introduces new FarmManager system for pig producers
Fancom, a developer of automation systems for the animal husbandry sector, is introducing FarmManager for Finishers, a new management system, specifically for pig producers.
A special add-on for Fancom's FarmManager programme, the system registers key performance indicators in a pig house, such as growth and feed and water consumption, and compares such data with index figures according to the farm average or group average. It also allows convenient analysis and regular monitoring on production by automatically combining the latest data from climate, feed and weighing computers in livestock houses. This enables pig producers to compare results with other houses on the farm.
FarmManager for Finishers can assist producers in controlling feed ration, thus reducing feed costs, and improving output and profitability. The system produces reports which can be easily shared with advisors and strengthen the facilitation of managerial decisions.
