Japan's Agriculture Ministry buys 125,000 tonnes wheat in tender

 

 

Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) bought 125,000 tonnes of milling wheat in a buy tender concluded Thursday, an official at MAFF said.

 

MAFF bought 100,000 tonnes of US wheat and 25,000 tonnes of Australian wheat for shipment in January 2006, the official said.

 

MAFF did not buy Canadian wheat Thursday, the official said.
