Most South Korea Soybean Imports Genetically Modified
Most of the soybeans South Korea imported last year to be used for food products were genetically modified, the Korea Food & Drug Administration (KFDA) said Thursday.
Of the 1.5 million tons of soybean imports last year, 82 percent contained at least 3 percent genetically modified organisms (GMO), according to the KFDA.
