Denmark's Chr.Hansen enters Belarus market

Danish firm Chr. Hansen's has debuted its in-feed probiotic BioPlus®2B for pigs in Belarus market via distribution agreement with Biocom Ltd.

BioPlus^®2B is the first microbial feed additive that got the nod from the EU registration and the second Chr. Hansen animal health product to be sold in Belarus via Biocom. Biomax^®, a silage inoculant containing natural lactid acid bacteria for efficient livestock production, has been on the market the last 2 years.

Trine Hastrup, Vice President Animal Health, Chr. Hansen said the agreement in Biocom Ltd in entering the Belarusian market offers a bright potentials for the company over Belarus' developing pig market and industry.
