China Live Hog Weekly: Prices sink faster without government support (week ended May 16, 2012)
As the government's pork stockpiling promise was not fulfilled, China's hog market weakened further at a faster rate. Market demand for pork has softened over the week, as reflected in the decrease in pork carcass sales in major wholesale markets and a dip in transaction prices.
