Chicken Prices In Brunei Increase Again
 

The price of chicken rose again in the last few days due to the price increase in chicken feed. This comes after an earlier warning by chicken farmers in Brunei.

The price has gone from $4.20-$4.50 to $4.90 -$5.00 per kilogram during the last few days.

The warning, published by the Bulletin at the end of last month, was made by chicken farmers who were told by suppliers that the price of the chicken feed would be increased by $1.50 per bag in the near future.

The price of chicken feed is now more than $30 a bag, up from $25 to $29 a few months ago.

Meanwhile, consumers are requesting for government intervention to lower the price.
